Note: Don't be upset or disturbed by the way others present their art. And don't let something you don't like put you off - rather, dig deeper into whatever you don't like, and whatever does not sit well with you. Use it to push your own boundaries and though processes.

More advice - and sometimes not - for the young. Take what you want, when you need.

How about some Marc Chagall? I love the whimsical approach, the fact that he says it's all about love. His colours, his themes, and his imagination. And the way he juxtapositions his imaginings and sews them together.

How about some Jean-Michel Basquiat? Youthful approach. Free. Authentic and raw, and deep at the same time. Love it.

Well, I still feel young - and I mean that in the sense of art. Still learning, still developing. I also admire her courage and vulnerability at the same time.
